In October of 2016 Northern Fish Products received a routine visit from the Food & Drug Administration (FDA).
On November 10th, 2016 the FDA identified several areas of concern. At no time was any product compromised. However, upon reviewing several deficiencies, Northern Fish management took immediate action to address the issues.
Northern Fish reviewed and updated our existing environmental control program which ensures our sanitation system is working properly. This program started on November 14th, 2016 and continues to this day. Northern Fish is committed to continual improvement of our Food Safety Program.
